I got hit by a car and my front end seems to be out of alignment. Most alignment advice seems to indicate that I need to get on the bike and bounce the forks. The side stand is no good since leaning the bike after bouncing tweaks the alignment. With COVID I can’t get a buddy to hold the bike. What’s the best stand to use to keep the bike upright while I’m on it? PS I don’t want to spend a fortune

A simple front wheel stand would work. Like this:

Available from lots of places including the Bay of Es for not a lot of $$$

Get one that can be bolted to the floor - more stability that way!
