Recently my stable included a Multistrada, a V9 Bobber and an old BMW K75.
However a week ago I made an impulsive and blind purchase of a 2009 1100 GRiSO based solely on the sellers description, photographs and its MOT history!
Why would you do something so rash
Well probably because I got bitten by the Guzzi bug when I bought my Bobber new in 2016, after test riding against a Honda CB1100, just loved the character of the V9. First bike after 15 years of not riding (wife and children got in the way) and back then it was all Japanese stuff.
Always loved the look of the GRiSO and was looking for something to replace the 1400 California that I bent last year hence the impulse buy
Now all that brings me to a question that I'm sure has been asked, and answered, somewhere in the forum. Am I correct in thinking that it's the 1200 8V GRiSO's that have had the tappet problems? Is there anything I need to worry about with my 1100?
And before anyone mentions due diligence...................
