Just contemplating respraying my 2014 black devil tenni green next winter. Then had a thought. What would be better if you were starting bikeless, buying a Tenni and getting it rollerized, or respraying a rollerized bike?

Depends how much you are spending on a respray

Tappet based Tenni would need extra £1,000 parts to fix (maybe same again in labour if you don't DIY) & there's always the worry of internal engine damage from metal filings.
Personally I'd get a rollerised-from-factory one & respray it - also gives you option to go 'off-piste' on colour (like the V11 funky silver with transparent green) or mixing Tenni with other colours, style of contrasting lines/logos etc, and adding matching fairing/hugger/belly-pan. Plus (based on having V50 tank/guards, side panels done last year) a respray should only cost around £500 ....
Others here may suggest going for wrap as alternative to paint !

Mine is the white with light pearl metalflake and with about 8 feelable blemishes in tank and bodywork panels.
I would be pleased if I could get it done for £500

It's true the V11 translucent green over silver would have cost more BUT the BMW colour below was £500 (he stripped all the bits starting from red in this price & there's a complicated locking cap to be done also) so I'm guessing GRiSO wouldn't be miles higher.

Leave it like it is. The Black Devil looks better than the Green Manalishi.

The Tenni green speaks to me. But cred for the JP reference!
I can’t help but notice Mr. Halford bears a striking resemblance to one of our ghetto brethren.

An exiting development for amazing effects is hydrodipping. Heaps of designs available off the shelf and they can print your own designs as well. Check out You tube to see examples

Sorry when I kidnapped this thread a bit.... I would invest the money in other wheels (e.g. PVM). This photo was posted in the German Guzzi forum:
