A Laugh at My Expense

For some reason my battery terminals are naked/exposed.
I guess they are safe as the tank is plastic as is the seat, still be nice to have them semi encapsulated.
Ordered a pair of battery caps off Amazon, didnt seem to be many vendors except the chinese knocking them out. Batteries are a chinese thing though.
Thought these looked great as sort of square and decent slot to maybe get the cable and terminal thru.

The 2 pound coin is for size as pretty close to actual size of the connected terminal.

Uhm aren't most of them? I've never had a battery with protected terminals and really as long as you don't store a loose wrench under the seat what on earth is going to cause a short? Wink

Yea the X1 Buell never had any and those terminals were right there even the battery was exposed just sat there Rolling Eyes

Nothing wrong with that, especially the Positive one.
Always disconnect the Negative first and reconnect it last.
You will appreciate why if ever you are using a wrench on the Positive terminal and it accidentally touches the chassis.

Not a lot of extra room in the GRiSO's battery "compartment".
