Throttle Body Connecting Rod Length

The plastic 90 degree connectors on the ends of my connecting rod wore out and I replaced them with a Volvo part that is essentially the same as the original. Here is my question: What is the correct overall length of the connecting rod from pivot point to pivot point. I failed to measure mine when I removed the original ends. Any assistance in obtaining the specified length is appreciated.

If the length of the connecting rod isn't specific to the individual throttle body assembly of your motorcycle I can measure mine when I'm back home from work. Otherwise it will be a pita to determine the correct length for your GRiSO.

It's also critical to get this right, otherwise the flow through each of the throttle bodies will not be the same throughout the range.

I always thought that it was a big NO-NO to alter this adjustment, as it has to be set up with specialised equipment.

NC Mark, you're in for a world of hurt I reckon. The rod length is critical.

Sadly yes. If you didn't measure the centre to centre distance very accurately before you removed it you will find it well nigh impossible, without blind luck, to reestablish the baseline. It is done by WM at the factory on a flow bench and is super critical.
