Hi,
A "good" morning from my hospital bed.  Sad
I have made a mistake using a lader while working around my house.
My ladar slipt away and I went down, quite fast...
I landed on the edge of a stone bathtub, auch.  No
My bath won, I didn't...
A very, very painfull experience...
I have a few cracked ribs and had to stay this night in hospital.
I guess, no riding my G12 for a while...  Mad
Damm.

Been there done that. Not highly recommended.
Top of a 22' ladder changing a light bulb in the car park.
Below was a slab of concrete, steel bins and 4"x4" fence posts with pointed tops.
I impacted flat on my side on a narrow strip of grass between all the obstacles, bounced and landed back on my feet, all before the ladder hit the ground. Not a scratch!

The fact I was in a church car park may have meant some One, was watching over me.

I know the pain of broken ribs, make Endone your friend, sleep upright in a comfy recliner, and heal fast my friend.

Sorry to hear this Ad B. Broken ribs suck and they take a long time to heal.

Best wishes.

Yowchers.
Get better soon.
But - don't mess with ladders.
I use them at work to go up and down utility poles and strands between poles and you JUST DON'T let yourself be casual with placement and use of ladders.

That's no fun! I was just up on my roof today triming tree limbs and clearing rain gutters. I have sturdy aluminum ladder and always extra carefull. I almost slipped on the metal step because my shoes were wet. I think next time I will wear my helmet and leather jacket just in case!
Hope you feel better soon!
