Have the Givi mini 5ltr, great for day trips- stores gloves/wallet/ sunny’s/and bit’s n bobs. Holds more than you’d think. Didn’t need anything larger as have the GRiSO tail bag on all the time as well.

Yes, that’s the one. The price was easy on the wallet at the time.

The mini also comes with a waterproof cover, which also fits over the dash when needed. Plus.

Hmm. I've got a GIVI XS307 15L that works just fine - no tank rub at all. Mounted on Onur's ring.
I must apologise. It's the XStream 20L I have, not the XS307. Yet another fuck up that I have made. I shall go and hide myself now...

Seems to be a nice fit, lower than the 604... Only issue seems to be some bad reports on the zipper parting from material of the bag after a couple of years use. Yours is fine so far?

[quote="Holger"]Hello,
I have a GRiSO rear bag converted with the tank ring adapter.
When I go touring, there comes a thin map bag on it.
I liked that on the rear bag is the red Guzzi emblem on it. In addition, you can also adjust the bag infinitely higher, as needed.
The surface of the tank bag is correct, it comes nowhere on and does not interfere with the driver position.

No problems so far. Granted, it hasn't had a whole lot of use, but I don't see any visible signs of impending failure.

Interesting Holger... Do you have to reinforce the floor of the bag or is it strong and stiff enough as it is? I guess this means that you need both the Oberring and the Tankring, right? And you cannot use Onurs tankring...? Which Tankring eventually fits the GRiSO?

Hello Björn,
yes, the bottom of the Moto Guzzi rear bag is stiff enough to support the upper ring. I also used it to load the tank bag to the top when I went to Mandello. It can be extended upwards by another 10 cm. The bottom remains very stable.
You need the two rings, the conversion kit for the fuel filler cap and the upper ring.
As I ordered the aluminium ring from Onur yesterday, I will dismantle my set (in mint condition) again and would be able to sell it to you at a fair price. Please do so via PN. Greetings Holger

Thanks for your offer Holger, but since I don't yet have the rear bag and haven't decided which one to buy, it might be a little early. But I'll keep you in mind if I go for the tail bag

Hello Björn,
with pleasure.
The Moto Guzzi tank bag was only available from the factory with attachment to the tank and the strap with a pad. But I didn't want to scratch the tank.
For me, I then looked for an alternative that would also fit the Moto Guzzi side bags.
So I didn't want to use a GIVI or other brands.
However, with a tank ring, the tank bag should not be too big in the footprint to keep stable.
That was the reason I was looking for a rear bag. At the moment there is one, almost new, on ebay. The price should be lowered a little...
