Today’s project was adding a ST2 brake light deceleration module to the GRiSO. I made up a small section of wiring harness to snap right into the existing wiring connectors. I also repaired the insulation on one the conductors where it looked like a previous owner had crimped on one of those insulation piercing taps. The ST2 kit also came with those taps but I prefer not to use stuff that causes damage to the wiring harness. I’ll make up a mounting bracket or will Velcro the module in place tomorrow.

I bought the turn signal cancellation unit too. It’ll be next up in the gizmo installation queue. Toys…no end to them.

Here’s how I mounted the ST2 brake module via a reworked stainless steel wiring clamp. A spacer (two nuts) was needed on the underside between the mounting point and the clamp in order let the clamp clear the radius of the frame tube.
The module allows for either constant or flashing operation depending on which side of the module is up. Label up - constant. Label down - flashing.
