Hi All,
I was having a conversation with a friend of mine I ride with about the GRiSO, I actually bought the GRiSO from said friend. Anyway, I was talking about my own personal pitfalls of GRiSO ownership and it was muted that perhaps the GRiSO is not a daily ride, its a bike the requires TLC and to be ridden for enjoyment only and I need a bulletproof bike in the stable.
Does anyway use their GRiSO as a daily ride, maybe a commuter, if not, why not, and if so, are there any pitfalls, are there things that require special attention, can the GRiSO be a one bike garage bike?

I think the GRiSO is a daily ride. My Sport was my daily ride for 14 years. However a daily ride requires regular maintenance, especially if there's water involved (Rain, wet roads etc.).
Things like swing arm bearings need care and the rear suspension assembly too, the steering head bearings. All of these things attention in the first place as Luigi only has one grease pot and is reluctant to use it at the factory. Mario puts more grease in but doesn't always have access to the grease pot - Luigi hogs it!
In fact all our bikes need this attention especially. Once done, should be good for a long time. Go over your bike at least annually. Change the clutch fluid with every engine oil change - CARC bikes are murder on clutch fluid.

Yep, commuter, daily driver, sport-tourer. I don't have room in the garage for "specialist" bikes. The GRiSO does it all.

I think it's fine for daily use & no special TLC because it's already bulletproof - like everything it just needs proper servicing at proper intervals.
I used mine for a couple years to 'commute' from Manchester to London Tower Bridge area & between there & Walton-On-Thames every week or so (stayed for 2-3 days at a time). It was best combo for long haul motorways followed by city/traffic jam weaving. Only thing I did 'special' was to find safe places to park it overnight....during the day I used it for customer meetings and office visits as motorbike parking is dead cheap & easy.
I bought it to replace a BMW R850R that was too slow & boring for anything outside London.

Not sure what is wrong with yours, but the GRiSO would be no different than any other of the CARC bikes. Breva, Norge, Stelvio. THey are essentially the same. The ONLY reason mine is not a daily commuter or LD bike is it is too PERFECT visually, and I don't want to add bags, etc. I do commute on it when I don't need saddle bags for storage of helmet and gear. Been riding it almost every day this week.
My 07 has been flawless from day one, and not a single issue.

Mine is a commuter, weekend blaster & long haul tourer. In what way do you think that the GRiSO needs more TLC than any other brand of daily use motorcycle?
Daily ride. Commute to work on it, get groceries including the milk, love to tour in the non-freezing weather. Keep up on the maintenance and you're all set.
