Swiss - Italy - Austria

Me and my friends did our annual trip this weekend.
Took the night train to Feldkirch, near swiss border and started thursday morning at 8:00 from there back home.

Seems we were a bit early this year, all the huts in swiss were still closed and some in south tirol too.

The swiss alps were awesome, still with lot of snow everywhere. Here a picture of Flüela pass:

Camped at Lake Como at 28 degrees, then headed back north.

We helped and guy on Stallersattel to pick up his BMW (was not injured)

Second night at a camp near rails and highway was hard.

Last night at St.Valentins alm near Plöckenpass with that view.

We were super lucky: in 4 days we had just a short hailstorm on passo de giau, passed that in 2 minutes, 15 minutes of rain, and 1.5 hrs of wet roads.

In total we did around 1500 km till yesterday afternoon.

Now that is an epic tour!

Is the first picture on a ferry ride? I've not seen adjustable motorcycle chocks like those before.

No that is a train, for cars actually, but they do also bikes.
Nowadays it is almost cheaper then driving Smile

100 Euro normal price, early bird 50 Euro for ~ 700 kms overnight.

Drivers do cost extra, 70 bucks in a bed

was all fine, beside the oil pump sign that came once, i had to restart the bike twice to get rid of it

all nice and smooth, even the bag fits very nicely on the small socia seat, takes like 3 mins to mount it.
