It seems this bloke in Melbourne has the goods to create coded keys from just your ECU, ignition and cover (aerial).
If most Ducati's are covered then Guzzi has to be in with a show.

I suppose they reset the dashboard so it accepts any key as it it were new. Or they read the memory from the dash and figured out where the code is. I've seen someone doing that to a GRiSO alike dash from an aprilia sr50cc.

Now that would be ill eagle, except in the case of digital dash boards that cease to function after 99,999.
