Oil leak, cylinder head, 2007 2v 1100

I have some oil mist residue between the exhaust header and valves, can't pinpoint the source.

Been riding in extreme heat and smelled burnt oil when I parked in the garage.

Most likely the o ring under the blanking plug above the inner stud nut leaking. Take the rocker cover off and you'll see a circular plug with a 10mm hex key hole in the middle of it. That is simply a blanking plug sealed with an o ring. If it leaks it runs around the head and drips off the fins. Also check the rocker oil feed lines for leaks or loose connectors.
