| Hi, new to the forum, had a G1100 for few years but now have an 8v 1200 sport. G1200 obviously shares same mechanicals, so hoping to glean a bit of info regarding mapping etc. | |

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]The short of it is: buy 25$ in cables, download some free (as in beer) software and talk with Mark (beetle) about your setup (basically, what exhaust do you have). Upload the map, reset TPS and "learned params" and you're done! | |

| Sport 1200 4V or 8V? While working with Mark trying to build a map for the 8V we had tremendous trouble. He was doing thes 'Remotely' from Wagga and the bike was in Bungendore. Thing is the Sport12008V uses a stand alone cam profile not used on any other model and we couldn't get it to run right. I think that to do so Mark will need to data-log it would n the move to find out exactly what is happening. Luckily of all of the single O2 sensor bikes the 1200 Sport-8V is probably mapped up the best ex-factory.
I'd you have a pushrod 4V Dave and Tony have already got decent maps I believe.
