So what is it? It's not something I immediately recognise.

Hang on! They're a pair of upside down flat tappets! Well the owner gets an A+ for effort! Firstly for riding it to that point despite the racket it would of been making and secondly for remaining wilfully ignorant of the flat tappet issue for at least eleven years!

Alot of riders wear ear plugs but that must've sounded like a ma deuse 50cal.

I get ads from Ed on stuff for sale & saw the poor thing, one side went real wrong. In CA it's fine till it doesn't turn over. It had about 17K mi on it I think the ad said. Real Sad, could have been avoided.
YEA, they always make noise, no biggy!!
