Have you fitted new tyres or ridden in rain recently?

That is an intriguing question, Pete.
Rain possibly, tires I’m not connecting.

When the wheel is removed the brake caliper is removed. When refitted, if care is not taken, the cable from the speedo sensor can be damaged and short. Usually this takes out the ECU power too but it’s a three wire sensor and I thought, drunkenly, because I’m with degenerates in Coonamble, perhaps it’s frizzed the light circuit?
On further reflection I’m likely talking bollocks? I’ll check back in when I’m a.) Home. And b.) Sober!

Oh, I was aware of the speedo wiring but unaware it could possibly take out power to the ECU if pinched or damaged.
Pete, sounds like you’re enjoying yourself. Carry on.
