Marchesini/Brembo 3 spoke wheel refresh

I'm beginning to get some flaking on my 15 year old wheels.

As winter is approaching here in North America, I can consider getting them properly restored.

Has anyone gone through this and have experience to share as to process and materials?

Ooh! no I can't help. But I feel your pain, as my 16 year old GRiSO's lovely wheels are also just starting to bubble in a couple of spots. The rest of it seems to have survived the all-year use in and around the salted roads within the magic circle that is the M25. UK winters are comparatively mild, but it gets icy enough at times for the roads to be salted- so bikes do take some punishment. So I too am thinking of having them refurbished but don't know where to start.

Powder coating preceded by sand blasting will have your hoops look like new again.

I wonder how they'd look in black....

Or satin silver to complement the frame.

Wonder if I’d be able to locate the red reflective rim tape and marchesini logos. I’d hate to lose that look.

I do think you can get the decals 7 stripes, look in parts book.
