Sounds a bit weird to ask...I bought a 1100 2006 I haven't examined it or tried it yet (next month)

But anyway here's the question, are the standard headers chrome or stainless steel?

Stainless, double skinned and of less than stellar quality. Hence the fact they tend to discolour badly.
