Markings on Michelin Road 6 tires…

Not a GRiSO or even a Guzzi question, but does anyone know what, if anything, these three dashes mean on the Michelin Road 6 tires?[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

It means your going fast, faster or fastest around corners

Bragging rights at the bar post ride



If the lines have some official obscure Michelin meaning it's lost to me.

Not sure what moto the OP @Junowalker sports his MR6's, but I was just very surprised to see the rear one on my V85 is just over 10K.  

My "usual" R&R of rears on my other Guzzis is c.4K with silver threads of cords sometime then!     I have mostly run (after OEM's die) Michelin Roads of the 4 series.

This pic makes that rear look squared off; it is not and remains rounded and ready, it would seem for several more K.

Despite that, I am considering when the time comes to switch to Anakee Adventures, an 80/20 tire.  

I am only rarely off pavement intentionally, but too often find myself there by stooopidly believing my TomTom knows what it's doing.    Bill
