Experts,

Looking for a experienced Guzzi mechanic in case I cannot resolve high idle speed and starting problem myself.
I am in SF Bay Area and prefer reasonably priced mechanic/shop, who has experience with Guzzi.

I am thinking, I will try to resolve myself, and if I feel I may do more harm than good, I will take it to mechanic/shop.

Thanks !

Maybe Desmoto? They were happy to give my GRiSO it's post-purchase service 3 years ago; but they did overfill the oil sump which made a mess of the airbox. I've looked after it myself ever since. I did have Sean at the UnDealership (Redwood City) service the GRiSO forks - he's a BMW mechanic, but I found him to be super-honest. If he can't be bothered with a GRiSO and tells you to piss off, he'll do it really gently...

If you find anyone, let us know. I'm even considering hiring a MotoGuild mechanic to help me with a 30k service up there on Treasure Island...

Lawrence Giardina in Richmond/El Cerrito is an independent mechanic with experience in Moto Guzzi's and other euro brands and a good reputation.
