Blue's Mods.

I have the ghetto to thank for most of the contacts on finding these.

Bike had already - tail rack and tail pack / GRiSO touring screen

Rear hugger / Pyramid  - helps keep a bit of crap off the shock and stops stone chips [ maybe ]
Rox 2" risers  - More comfy for longer trips [ for me anyway ]
AF1 oil cooler cover - OEM plastic one went wonky
Forks moved up through yokes to 6th ring - like the handling feel
Hepco & Becker crash bars - Jury is out on this. I feel better for them being on.
Fender extender - keeping crap off my pipes etc
Have, but not fitted....

Adjustable CNC levers  - [waiting for 1.5mm allen key to arrive ]

Planned
lowered rear footpegs - Better pillion comfort [ MV motorad ]
Hepco & Becker C bow panniers - longer trips out

That's all folks........

Hmmm...let me see..
In no particular order:

GRiSO 'big' screen by Guzzi.
Corbin seat. I only ride solo and its higher off the ground for my high altitude arse. Also super comfy.
KD 1 inch drop pegs. See above.
Bar risers by beetle. See above.
Aprilia Mana bars. Narrower and more pull-back. No more wankers wrist for me.
Matris rear shock. Longe, better, more comfy than stock.
Shock sock. Protect Matris.
Forks to ring 6. Make GRiSO very flickable, especially with Matris.
Mistral Hi-Pipe. Best pipe for the GRiSO ever.
Custom pipe hanger by beetle. For Mistral.
Arrow Ti headers and midpipe. Look purty and saves bulk weight.
Custom map to suit zorst. 'Cos I can. cheers
Innovate LC-2 with wideband sensor in narrowband mode to trim my custom map to perfection
Pussy Grips. I like em fat.
Chinese 'ebay special' levers in black. Smaller and prettier than stock.
Chinese 'eBay special' Rizoma knock-offs that look like gynecological speculums. Not sure about these... Suspect
Omni cruise throttle lock 'cruise control'. So I can rest my overworked throttle hand.
Onur's Givi ring (woohoo!). For the obvious reasons.
Toe pegs by beetle. Need more offset for the KD pegs.
Snorkel-be-gone. It's not necessary and now I can smuggle shit.
USB charger. To charge my phone you bloody idiot.
Tail tidy by Spaceclam.
Smaller blinkies.

That'll do pig.

On the GRiSO already:
Sw-Motech tank ring and "engage" tank bag for daily commuting
"China" adjustable levers for the looks and because I like smaller levers
Original rear luggage rack purely functional for trips
Grips wrapped with mountainbike tape for better grip and less vibrations
Less bulky turn signals
Oil cooler cover (thanks to AF1)
Small original windscreen to keep the clock clean

Maybe future:
Hepco C-bow + Royster bags
Alternate mapping

Carbon Fibre Mistral upswept pipe, cause it's beautiful and sounds sublime
Rox 2" Risers, but I have Mana Bars ordered and the Rox may show up on the Ghetto Mercado

MG tail rack
MG "large" wind screen
Grip Buddies for more comfort
Shock sock
Fancy German thermometer dip stick
Fenda Extenda, to keep crap off the engine and pipes
Case Harper tail bag
RAM GPS mount for the cheapest GPS I could get + plastic bag for the rain

Mistral can - to add some blat.
Arrow barend mirrors (for that Quadrophenia look!)
Aprilia Mana bar cause the stock tiller was just too wide.
HB Junior bags - hard luggage is more secure in the city.
GRiSO flyscreen

Needing to replace/relocate the rear turnsignals - the Mistral melted the left one.

2006 1100.
Clean up under valve seats and match inlet elbows. The factory didn't have time for this.
Agostini S/S 2 into 1
Agostini S/S Reverse con Muffler . Sound better? and look neater than the ones I made.
Corbin seat. Leaps and bounds more comfy than Stock.
Ventura rack and bag . Easy, Cheap, Functional, Australian made.
0.9 Kg Racetech Fork springs and shim stacks. Better than stock
Racetech rear shock shim stack. They work .
Brass throttle rod ends. Took the slop out of the stock set up.
EFI Hardware throttle shaft bushes and butterflys. As above..
My gusset plate on Right Hand footpeg plate /brake pivot. Cheaper than buying a new foot peg / frame plate after a slight gravity attack.
Aftermarket el cheapo bar end weights. I cut 25 mm off bars. I come with a low centre of gravity with a wingspan to suit.
S3 Performance  front discs. Cheaper than Brembos.
Beetle Map /guzzidiag. How could you go without?

Wishlist

Matris suspenders front and rear, the rear with High and Low speed damping
Inovate LM2 Dual broadband Air/Fuel meter/datalogger. To make a map for my bike/exhaust
Someonelses licence.

2008 1100

Tail Tidy to get rid of ugly tail piece
Billet bar end mirrors - cause I've been using them forever
Chinese CNC levers in black/red - I have small hands and needed better adjustments
Dart smoked fairing - lift the wind off above 80 mph and protect the instrument cluster

Mistral conical CF exhaust - sexy and sounds good
Remove CA spec Canister - help with hot engine idle hunt
Beetle/Guzzidiag map - so it runs like it should
AF1 oil cooler cover painted black -

Forks on 6th ring, suspension tune - dramatic twisty riding improvement.

 Future:
 Some sort of tail rack
 Turn signal update
 Maybe Mana bars

2012

Performance
HH front brake pads (EBC) - Should be the first mod anyone does IMHO (outside of stock suspension adjust). 5 lines showing. Likely heavy fork oil next as it's works well on showa forks.
Silenziatore X - Black agostini - Really more for look.
agostini mid pipe - nice but put the stock one back in for torque and attempt at quiet
Custom mapping
Matris rear shock - Very nice if you're not happy with the stock shock. It is spendy.

Comfort
1" bar risers - For me stock bar with 1" rise is the best. Tried 3 bars prior.
1" lower peg - big feet and work great for winter thick sole boots. The stock pegs work for Sidi sport boots.
MG little screen - looks neat but don't use anymore.
MG big screen - Works good. Big $. Picked it up in Mandello
Corbin seat - Have had many custom seats made. 1st attempt at Corbin. Actually good value. Doesn't like to latch though.
Stelvio handguards - Just plain work and very affordable. Easy on/off for seasonal changes.

Others.
Stucci carbon rear hugger - too keep poop off the Matris
Hepco crash bars - underwire for the tits
Ventura tail rack. Use with Givi and Ortlieb drybags
Onur's Ring - paired with Givi little tank lock bag.
Pilot road 4 - just plain work
MG centre stand
Fenda extenda - attempt to keep poop of motor and possible help retain engine temp

Possible Future
Oil cooler cover to replace warped stock. Door to block oil cooler for cold temp rides.
oil temp dip stick or some other temp monitoring thingamabob

I spent time reading about the bike before I bought it. I made a list of what other people where doing and why. I followed suit.

Matris rear shock. - At the time the only real alternative. Now I would probably go with a Penske.
Hugger, not sure which one, it's Carbon Fiber and clamps to the reaction rod - keeps some stuff off the shock
Stuchi rear Rack & Givi V47 trunk - wife won't let daughter ride without a backrest. The Givi kills the aesthetic lines of the bike, but Damn it's convenient. Doesn't slow the bike down either
Rizoma bar end mirrors - vanity
Dart screen - keeps bugs out of hard to clean areas and some water off the dash.
Brmbo radial master cylinder - one of Pete's sugggestions
SW Motoch tank ring and micro tank bag
Agostinin Horse Hoof slip on in Stainless with DB killer and Cat Con installed
Fenda extenda
Oil temp dipstick

Still to come: Mapping

Have but not yet used: Crash Bars.

Though less than a month old, I've already added a Dart flyscreen, an AF1 Racing fender elimination kit and a Ventura tail bag.

Next up will be a wheel hugger to protect the rear shock and perhaps an oil temp dip-stick.

I've made so many to my old shitter I can't even begin to remember them all. Most of them are ergonomic or aimed directly at improving rideability, top end performance doesn't worry me a jot although it certainly isn't lacking with the current map Mark built for it.

Suspension and brakes are where most of my spending has gone, forks were overhauled and set up by our local suspension expert and I have a Matris R on the back with a spring that is borderline too heavy but it's not enough to make me want to change it. I do have a set of Ohlins forks for it too but right now I can't be arsed to fit them, they'll need custom yokes anyway. I also have a radial master for the front brakes but haven't got round to fitting it yet. EBC HH pads helped the brakes a lot.

Other stuff? Lowered pegs, factory 'Big' screen, Mistral Hi-Pipe with dbK, heated grips, Onur's tank ring, SE mirrors, tail tidy, shock sock, oil cooler baffle, temperature dipstick, lots of little stuff mainly as the original package was pretty darned good apart from the fueling.

On that I tried drinking at the PCV-AT fountain and found it sorely lacking. My own knowledge and understanding of engines and most particularly research on how the 8V worked and its engine management system soon taught me what wouldn't work and that some things were going to be downright dangerous to the engine's health but it's hard to swim against a tide of bullshit so I try not to argue too much. It does frustrate me though when I have people extolling the virtues of their vehicles which to my casual eyes and ears, and sometimes nose, are wallowing in a black hole of awful. Not my bikes though, not my money. It's just a great waste of very nice motorbikes though....

Figured I'd jump into this thread, allowing for either praise or verbal manslaughter for the few cosmetic mods I've done to my GRiSO...

Headlight bezel - blacked out - cuz I'm not a fan of chrome

VC's - sandblasted, blacked out and then sanded the "Quattro Valvole" back to bare aluminum - cuz it matches the alum on black of the Brembo calipers and the CARC FD.

Signals front - Custom Dynamics TruWraps (love em, easy install, clean lines) - hate eye stalk indicators

Signals rear - Custom Dynamics Tag bolt LED - see above

Oil Cooler Cover - EViL TWiN in alum on black again - nick name by a buddy of mine for a bunch of reasons but mostly to snub the retard amount of HD's riding in my area.

Tail tidy - made it myself because I'm poor.

Wish list - new levers, looking at the RSD ones but damn they're pricey.
- GT RX Undermount exhaust - I would do unspeakable things to have that exhaust....
- New seat, not a Corbin but something like it
- A Monica Bellucci to stand beside it whenever its parked...if you need to ask why, you're dead inside.

My mods have been mostly pretty ordinary, intended for comfort on long trips.

electronic cruise control -- Rostra, works very well; a must-have for me.

OEM small tank bag and rear panniers; the brackets for the latter are actual mods

mounting bracket and power supply for a Tom-Tom GPS

OEM fly screen (and a larger screen I put over it on trips out West)

headlight plastic lens protector

theft alarm (Gorilla) intended to wake me up in a motel some night

crash bars, but I took those off after a while for beauty's sake

Must be some other stuff that I'm forgetting, but the GRiSO doesn't need much!

EDIT: I also bought the Termignoni exhaust in the first blush of ownership, but it doesn't thrill me too much anymore, especially since the db killer is back in it.

When looking for a GRiSO about 3 years ago, the only "must have" for me was the Termi exhaust.  After trawling ebay, a Red 2006 popped up that fitted the bill.
On it already, were the Termi exhaust and MG flyscreen. A rear rack and a genuine MG tank bag were part of the deal too.
Since then I've added a tail tidy from Todd over at "the other place" and some new tyres. I've also bought a small tail pack [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] to hold chain, lock, puncture kit etc.
The laquer was peeling on both levers making them look a bit manky and I was going to spring for some fancy short levers, but decided I didn't want to pay big money for the decent stuff, and didn't fancy fitting cheap Chinese crap either. So I stripped and polished the original ones and they look like new.
The money I saved on levers will probably be spunked on a set on funky LED indicators, then some bar end mirrors, then some other stuff.......... You lot are going to cost me a fortune. Basdtids!! Very Happy

I would like to throw in as well
2007 1100 GRiSO ...barend mirror  left side cause thats all you need here, Agostini Can db killer in , Chinese levers they work great, Mana bars cw the bike , never tried stock but i like these comfy and not to wide, Guzzi fly screen ...couldn't tell you if works.. looks good though imo, tail tidy cw with the bike cleans up the tail of the bike nicely. Matris shock need to set it up yet, looking forward to trying it out Smile
And my favorites 2001 Triumph Speed Triple heal guards ...bolt right on , they came off a good friends bike who has left this world so a part of him rides with me , he would have loved the GRiSO ...
