PostSubject: Scratching an old itch   Scratching an old itch Icon_minitime1Tue May 03, 2016 1:20 pm

Hello,

New to guzzi and new to a GRiSO - took delivery of a 1200se in March and well pleased. Traded in a Multistrada without even having a test ride. So far everything I wanted in a a guzzi and everything I need in a bike.Upgrades so far are an arrow end can a dart marlin screen a Turkish tank ring and a givi tank bag. Oh and a couple of t shirts. Probably looking at some ventura lugguage in the near future. I m in South East London but with easy access into Kent. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Howdy Kent, and welcome! That Arrow looks like it ought to be OEM- very nice.

I can't recommend a Beetle map highly enough- I have a '15 as well, and the difference in performance and fuel economy is night and day. Plus, those purdy headers won't turn blue, nor liver spot, but rather  turn a nice bronze-y color (cuz it runs cooler). Kind of, err, like they look in your photo- you running a map already?

Nope not running any maps - just bolted the arrow on and removed the baffle - but then again the headers had started going that colour with the stock end can. Thanks for the map recommendation I'll do some investigation.

Pop the dB killer back in, it'll perform much better.

Thanks for the welcomes - kind of came to the conclusion that the deb killer was going back in after riding last Sunday. But thanks for the tip

Welcome mate, I agree with the others that reverse cone is the dogs bollox! I run the Mistral high with the 'Deb' killer Smile in and while the bike runs so sweet with it in I just love the sound of the carbon can free flowing the spud makes a rather large difference to crisp response and fuel.
