Oil seeping under valve cover gasket

I've noticed over the last month that I've got an oil seepage issue around the outboard side of both valve cover gaskets. Last year I know I didn't have a problem, even with some torn gaskets ( old green style). This year when I did my valve service, I used new black gaskets and it probably started seeping around then. It's not spraying out like the breather clogged, and it doesn't leak when it's sitting. I may not have done a very good job torquing the bolts since my torque wrench decided to pack it in, and I haven't heard good things about the new gaskets. Is this anything to worry about?

Replace them with Valpolini gaskets. They won't leak again.

I just requested a quote from them and was told that they won't ship them to my country. Oh well.

Go back to the green ones, and only hand tighten them. I have been using the same set for the last 8 services - nary a leak!

Assuming you don't get the Valpolini ones...
