| Greetings, new to the forum, and new owner of a brand new GRiSO 2017. Rode it home from the dealer about 120 miles, did my speed swings, low high RPM but never over 5000 -- love this bike!. After I got home after the 120 miles ride I noticed some oil dripping... noticed under engine coated with some oil which seems to be coming from the front..(see red circle). I checked the oil level and it seemed over the high mark ( with bike really hot ). Any ideas?? could it be too much oil from the dealer?? I dont think they did a good job getting the bike ready since I had to get some bolts tight as well... Is it normal for the GRiSO ?? I have a V7 III Stone too and it has never dripped once in 4500 miles  [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I cleaned it up and will be monitoring...Should I do anything else?? | If it is indeed coming from under the belt cover then it is most likely the front crank seal leaking. It's not a huge job to replace but I'd take it back and get it done under warranty and ask them to make sure the alternator belt hasn't been contaminated.

thank you.. will figure out how to take the bike down to the dealer , any way to know for sure if it is that seal? I guess I can monitor..

| Pop off the belt cover, seven 5mm Allen's I thinkand if the oil is dribbling from behind the crank pulley then it's the seal.

| Hello, brought the beast in to the Guzzi dealer and it was confirmed that it needs a new crank shaft seal... it will be done in warranty ... However it can take 2 weeks  Thank you! Giuseppe | |

| Early engines had an issue with the rear main flange. This bike has just got a dud front seal.
