will a normal 16mm spark plug socket get down in there??

anyone got the actual diameter of the hole in the casting?

No. Check the tool kit that came with. Plug tube spanner should be amongst it.

sincerely appreciate the tip steak, but not buying a tool which I might already have is also my friend, my wallet's friend and the friend of the planet's natural resources Smile

will check and see if a spark plug tool came in the toolbag

No worries Lazlo, my skin is thick, and you didn't even chafe it!

I think I got mine from Cycle Gear here in the States, no more than $15 USD or so.

Here's one on Amazon. 13/16 because I like to use the NGK Iridium plugs, BPR6EIX I think.
