Running GuzziDiag on my Mac

Has anyone been able to run GD on a Mac. Mine is running Catalina 10.15.7

Latest version of GD.

I get “unable to open” or words to that effect.

Tried putting GD in Applications. Tried Ctrl -click.

???

Check out this video. It explains how to set some permissions.




If that doesn't help, I can provide a link for GuzziDiag v0.46, which should run OK from the Applications folder.

I sent you an email in return to the map file you sent me asking if you could give me a blow-by-blow list of the steps required in a tune up, starting at adjusting valves etc etc. I’m a bit confused around the throttle balancing and TPS reset area.
i need to know also when I install new map as well in that list.

Map first. A TPS reset is required for both procedures.

Thanks for your help on this Mark, but there must be something about the latest version of Apple program or my permissions are beyond my understanding. I am Admin but even though I get that v46 of GD working the reader/writer wouldn’t load.

Never mind, my wife has volunteered her work laptop (windows) which I was trying to avoid in case I f^&* it up. Bloody programs loaded straight on!! I’ve put all files and programs in one window on desktop.
I’m waiting for vacuum gauges and cables to arrive so it’ll be a couple of weeks til I try this.

Been following this as I have 2010 Macbook with early OS in the garage. I will be using with GD to do TPS. Just got my cables in the mail and loaded the software.
