I'm sitting here flipping through Ebay and I found a complete (slightly scratched) speedo.
Just wanting to confirm. If I were to buy it, would I need the code programmed into the donor bike?
I have both of my original keys AND know the PIN I programmed it. My dash has the fogging issue.

The user code is stored in the dash and it won't recognise your keys. To get it to work you have to know the user code programmed into the dash, not your code, or it is a paperweight.
You can send it to Carmo in Holland and they can, apparently, clear the code but I think they charge about $400 to do so so it's probably not worth it.

That is what I thought. I do know about the Carmo option. Guess guy is gonna have to give it away to make it worth getting.

If it comes with a known user code there's no problem but if it isn't known? That's where the issue lies.
