Not Another Oil Thread

Hi Everyone,

I have been looking at buying Penrite 10W60 in a 20 litre drum. I also want to get their 5W fork oil.

Rang SuperCheapAuto (WotaLotofCrap) because I am a member and they cater for us motorcyclists. Apparently I have to buy 6 x 1 litre fork oils as that's all they can supply, and had an outrageous price to match. Told them to place it in their darkened recess.

Sent an email to Penrite explaining the situation. Within 1 hour had a response stating that I should be talking to Repco.

Rang them this morning (Repco that is) and got prices on said oils:
- 20 litres of 10 Tenths 10W60 $279 (that's around $56/5 litres which is better than the 70 odd bucks they charge)
- 1 litre of 5W fork oil $26
- Freight on special order $15

I think this is a pretty good deal for us Austrians, Wotcha fink?

Try wollongong auto supplies, I buy all my penrite there.

I can probably do it a bit better than that for the 20L drums but then you'd have to pick it up.

thought that Pete, and would if I lived a tad closer - spend more than I would save - unless I had to go down that way for some other reason: thinking, thinking - Oh this won't fit on my Sport?

When I needs oils I rides me scoot to Bungendore.

There's this chipper fellow there who puts the oils in your scoot then buys you beer. Tops!
