| Sold my '09 8V and planned to buy a red 2015 in a year or so but my loopframe spit a u-joint and I saw this bike on Craigslist... First ride today and the bike is a little rough around the edges. Thanks to Beetle the map can be installed tomorrow along with a valve check and careful synch. Today's fashionable accessories include factory flyscreen, bag mounts and rear rack. I put on Knight design lowered footpegs, my custom big boy seat (Pirate upholstery). I narrowed the front turn signals and put on grip puppys and a go-cruise throttle lock. | Neat looking 1100! Complete with frame tattoo. | Has anyone found with front fork reflectors, that its a good idea to take them of to prevent corrosion ? Its always advice given to Buell xb owners which also have showa forks, seemingly water must be held behind them and slowly oxidises the aluminium | |
