What gets to me is that man has been making IC engines for now some one hundred years, we have put men on the moon, ect ect, you know where i'm coming from !
Well
How could this type of issue come to be ?
What salary was the design team on when this design was conceived ?
Who approved the design and metallurgy for this design ?
Are these people still employed by MG?
Are these same people designing, manufacturing and selling the new models?
Should prospective new owners be worried ?
Lots of questions heh

I hope the wear between the Flat tappet and Cam Lobe produces a very Sharp edge, so it Hurts more when we Insert the cams into the design team Shocked

To be sure it's a proper Root ( USA read Proper Fuck ) but let's get on with it, fix it , and enjoy what is all in all a really great Velocipede

Yah, it's Bob's cambox in the pic I put up in the other thread with one tappet top flush with the cambox and one proud. I've seen it so many times now I know it is definitive evidence. Unfortunately the factory won't take this as enough, you have to get your dealer or service agent to pull a cambox. Annoying.
