| Funny, I was going through some DVDs yesterday and pulled Quadrophenia to watch in the next few days. That opening track in quadrophonic is awesome. Any of you remember quadraphonic or quadrophenia, apart from Wet Coaster? | |

"Love reign over me" I am a quadraphonic nut. I've quite a few quad recordings, including the some very rare stuff. | You know the public bath scene early in the movie? That was the old Islington baths. When we were living in a squat in Calthorpe St. which didn't have a bathroom those baths were where we went for a scrub-up. They really were magnificent. You paid yer quid or whatever and you got a towel and a cake of soap and you were escorted to one of the cubicles where the bath was run, (From outside! You yelled " More hot!" Or "More cold" to the attendant and he turned in and off the faucets! The baths were the size of small swimming pools! It was a magnificent Victorian edifice!
No doubt it's been bulldozed now and turned into yup pay flats by some bastard of a property developer!

i have fitted the Napoleon mirrors which i think very are similar , and they are a great mirror good field of view but i actually found them to large overall and with the already wide handlebars of the GRiSO they would really add to the width IMO.

| I remember the Islington Baths. Great place. We used to take the kids from the Boat Club to the pool there (back in the mid 70's) teaching them to eskimo roll the bath mats - a 30 meter pool stuck in the middle of the old place, but they still had the "more than a decent size" baths with fire hydrant sized taps. Bloody magnificent. In those days in London, the closest thing to a shower was a rubber hose on the end of a tap, & only after you'd fed your shilling into the meter. As well as the large bar ends, Napoleon also make a mirror that fits in the mirror mount, but bends out & over the grip in an attempt to get around the shoulder - [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] - works OK for me, but I still have a HindSite mirror on the right looking at the blind spot, and a Napoleon bar end on the left. It's a bit wide & makes lane splitting more difficult, but the view is decent. I have found the bar ends more stable, less vibration, than the mirror mounts. | |

This asks the next question; how about narrower / flatter bars? anyone?

| I put on some clip ons. A bit narrower than stock. Not much. Just a bit. I am going to cave in and get the Aprilia Falco bars instead. Then buy the Napoleon mirrors. | |

| I just put Napoleons on my GRiSO. My love affair with cheap-arse mirrors over. My bars are narrower than stock, so I don't feel the extra width is an issue. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- ..[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.].In GRiSO we trust! . | |

| Looks like it's nicely made, but the shape doesn't appeal to me.
