Huh? Nothing! They're standard radial master cylinder reservoirs.

| No, I'm just not used to seeing the round ones is all. I thought they were all the rectangular type. I'm in love with the bike!! | |

| To many bourbons Non standard radial master cylinders hence the the reservoirs are standard for those - the standard/original (non radial) GRiSO master cylinders do have rectangular reservoirs.

| The strange thing is they seam to stick up quiet far.
After multiple bikes with leaky odd shaped reservoirs I’m convinced the round piss cups seal better.

| Despite a couple fettling issues, I took it for its first serious logging run today. I first installed a map with more fuel added across the board to reduce the lean running. Strike me pink! Third gear from 2000 RPM, cracked the throttle wide open. Front wheel leaves the tarmac briefly. A little bit of poo comes out. Every other run to redline in 3rd gear I had to lean over the bars. It gets very light. I ain't doing it in 1st or 2nd. I don't own enough underwear. | |

| If you want to power wheelie in 4th, I've got a front wheel that's lighter by 4.5kg |

| how did you arrive at a 1400 engine Mark? Is it a GRiSO bored out or from another Guzzi? Also I'm wondering about those raised ?? Brake fluid reservoirs ? I'm guessing it's done for a purpose. Does it enhance the braking? " scute my ignorance if its a silly question?

It's not a bored-out 1200. The reservoirs are standard kit for Brembo RCS radial master cylinders. I've had them on the GRiSO for a couple of years. The Reservoirs themselves do not enhance anything. They just look cool by sticking up in the air stream.

| Love the orange and black! Careful with the coppers. That color agitates them into angry hornet mode. | |

| Sound is a trifle deeper but not really noticeably louder. As with all 8V's not being used on the track though we advise running a dB killer, not so much for noise reduction but because running one moves the maximum torque point lower down the rev range. The fact that the noise is less antisocial is purely a side benefit. We tend to follow our own advice. There's been a bit of a hiccup as Mark's exhaust clamps have bent and his Arrow pipes aren't sealing properly so he's having to swap back to the originals while we work out how to replace the clamps on the TI pipes. Apart from that all's going well. Pete | |

| At the moment there is an exhaust manifold *Issue*. The clamps have warped. Perhaps because of heat, perhaps because of over tightening. No idea, but it does mean it can't be tuned as the manifolds are leaking. Yes, we'd love to say it was super-marvey and our shit was replete with rosy fragrance! But because we are honest, (And a bit mad!) we'll just keep on filling in the boxes as we go. At the moment I only think we are ar best 60% there. What do people want? Updates? Or lies? Shit! I can tell you it will make 140 HP and shit rainbow coloured burn outs if you want! It'll be utter bullshit but boy I can bullshit with the best of them if asked! | |

| Pete, mine already does rainbow coloured burn outs, i thought they were standard.
By worth it i meant as opposed to having some fun creating a big engined GRiSO,which is obviously worth having a go at, i meant that given the effort you have gone to, is there a noticable enough improvement?
Just another thing, is it a 1400? or is it like the standard bike 1151 but "marketed" as a 1200? It would be nice to see if the improvement in torque and BHP was in the same order as the increase in swept volume.
and before you say it, yes i know we are asking a lot of fucking questions, but you started it by promising us a view of never never land!

| I say that the project is worth it even if it stays a 66% and eventually falls into the "oubliettes". Why? Because you learn so much when you do enterprises like this that a second try in the same ideas will start with a lot more clarity. And that's the worst case scenario...the best case scenario would be a big hit and market a kit while the people involved become instant millionaires! I think them boys will fall somewhere in the middle, which is pretty awesome. | |

| I told Heather about this and she asked me if I'd like one. Hmmmmm. Then I thought about it and said no. After what Pete and Michael have done to my bike I'm more than happy with it the way it is. But if she gave me one, I wouldn't say no. | |
