which diag cables do I need

I've found a few for sale in various places but there seem to be many types.
Can anyone tell me which are the correct ones (or ideally provide a link to them)
My GRiSO is a 2008 1200 8v which is now rollerised and it runs a bit hairy since I did that.
I'm told I should change the map to cure this. I have no experience with the guzzi-diag and or changing maps so this will be a bit scary :-o

Also What maps/s would be suitable? The bike is standard apart from a GPR exhaust which I run without the baffle in because the sound is nice

The Lonelec cables are guaranteed to work and with sterling being weak at the moment no doubt good value for oversea customers.

Ok my Lonelec cables have finally arrived.
I've found the Beetle Maps page and I see there are many available, but where? - where do I download them and which should I get?

Contact Beetle, tell him what you've got and he will provide a map to suit.

When connected to the laptop I do not get the ECU>plugs symbol on the bike's instruments.
Using a windoze 10 lappy.
I'm sure its all connected properly, the blue light is on the cable. there are no undiscovered usb items in the device manager. The lappy gives the standard audio ping/noise when I plug in the usb lead. Does not ask for drivers. When I open any of the reader/writer/diag programs no connection logo is displayed on the dash.

Should I proceed and try the backup?

EDIT: took the plunge and backup is underway (and now the ecu>plug logo appears) Electronics cause me no end of anguish

Went to set my TPS which currently sits at 6.50
I have no TPS setting in >actors>

Don't worry be happy! It's just a different kind of wrench. Don't throw out the hammer, you may need it.

Yeah, the ECU unplugged icon only appears while saving or loading a map.

That's because you haven't selected "GRiSO" in the GuzziDiag preferences. It defaults to "Bellagio". Which we do not reset the TPS on.
