| I recently bought a K&N filter a few weeks ago and installed it thinking that it would increase my airflow. I also saw that Pete was telling people to throw the piece of crap away. After reading what Pete said, I reordered a new OEM filter. Then I ran across this write up on K&N filters and was blown away at how bad they really are. Just wanted to pass on the article. | All K&N filters do is strain out small rocks and birds. They filter nothing. They also do nothing to improve performance. Another 'Tuning' item pedalled by charlatans and spivs. | |

| Yep. I often reference that site when those who've drunk the koolaid argue the virtues of "performance" filters.

| This filter setup would really be awful on a GRiSO even though it looks cool. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |
