I’d your not happy with the sound of the horns you bought, look at the thread titled “replacement horns”. I first started out with a Hella -round style like yours. They were better but not impressive. Years later I went to Piaa. All the info is on that thread. The Piaa are impressive and not embarrassing.

Hello JohnA
sorry ... my english is not good enough. Can you give me the link where I can find alternative horns for the GRiSO?
But do the PIAA also fit into the original recordings?
Thanks Holger

Hi Holger,
You English is fine, no worries.
Hopefully this will take you to the page that has my pictures of how the horns need to be mounted and also the link to Amazon to purchase. I think they were $53 USD.
You can also go to the search bar here and type in "replacement horns" and it will take you to this.

They are decently loud. But I would have probably tried the piaa horns, louder is better.

Thanks for the info on the article and PIAA.
Do you fit under the cladding without changing anything? How do the "holes" look from the front ... the PIAA cannot be seen directly

Holger,
When you look through the openings, you see the logo (PIAA) on the horn. The opening fits up against the flat side of the horn and the horn opening points upwards, in order to make it fit. It’s very snug but you don’t have to change anything. You may have to loosen the existing horn mounting bracket and move it a little.

Hello, I installed them today ... they are quieter when the side panel is on ... and there will be hardly any space upstairs ...
regards Holger
