The '75 needed a clutch so that came first.

It's back together now.

The Stelvio shock came from Germany and will be installed, the Wilburs is being sold, the stocker stashed for a rainy day.

While I was there, the linkage came out to be greased. I did it five years and two other owners ago but few miles. It was still nice and greasy so I cleaned it and greased it again.

Nice work, Guzziowner! Cred fo dat!

Here's my '74 Eldo repleat with original patina, and a new wiring harness from Greg Bender. This is as far as I intend to take it, I really like the crustiness of the old horse.

The mid 70s Eldorados look as comfortable as my easy chair. They always casted an impression as if they are all 100000 + miles on them. Built like a great watch on a chain if you will. It seems the older I get the more I want one. Just ride and ride, coast to coast......Nice bikes gents.

Nice Eldos, I have a 72 with the drum brakes.
It was a bit neglected when I found it, had sat for 20 years in a damp garage with the heads off
All the chrome was long gone including the bores.

But it scrubbed up not too bad.

I'm still running the generator, completely non standard wiring and have the wheels tubeless.
The drum brakes can be a bit exciting at times but I have no intention of adding a disk.
