Refitting clutch diaphram plate

Do you need the special tool 020600Y or 020672Y to do this or is there another way?

Thanks, a local neighbour has stripped the clutch down to check for a main seal leak - that was OK and is now trying to get the clutch back together and is struggling - I won't be seeing him until the weekend.

The reason I asked was that the manual shows a tool.

so does this just go together and the centre boss will clip in without "effort"? or what is the easiest method to accomplish this?

Found out that he was trying to fit it wrongly, however the leak was the oil breather drain hose
