After market hanlebars Empty
PostSubject: After market hanlebars   After market hanlebars Icon_minitime1Tue Sep 02, 2014 6:57 am

Hello all,
I've just bought a 2006 GRiSO and.... I love it!
About to do some mild cosmetic mods ie; bars, mirrors, indicators, grips and levers ect.
Anyone have ideas on the best after market bars for the GRiSO?
The OE bars are OK ergo wise but I would like to upgrade to some in black (ie Razoma,LSL,Renthal ect)
Any suggestions?

Wildhenry.

I am a café bike weinie and you may not want to listen to me.
I found some 53mm clip-ons intended for the Aprilia Faclo for about $60 US.
So I started swapping them Saturday and I found the switchgear has a set pin that needs a .160 inch hole drilled into my bar.
So I am breaking out my drill today.

Just another option and how they look on an early bike.
Before anyone mentions, yeah, the bar ends are fugly.

These are Pro Taper Pastrana FMX ,at 800mm wide, 10mm narrower than the stock bar.
They're a tad taller and a slightly different rise/pullback.
They can be cut narrower still, 19mm a side by my first attempt.
Clutch master cylinder barely clears on the left side.
Pro Taper have a great site for comparisons.

'Course, Renthal prolly has something very similar, if you want to stay Brit.

Please show us your progress, when you've made the change.
