As SE owner i want to replace all spokes.
The original spokes are rusty. The original spokes are expensive and chromed.
Anyone experience with inox spokes?

There are a few companies who make spokes in all kind of models.

And yes once a week the pressure is low. So interested in sealing the wheels.

I spent approx. 4 hours polishing each spoke and nipple individually when I had my SE. The previous owner had fitted cast wheels, so I was able to work on each wheel without a tire fitted.
The spoked wheels reportedly had a slight leak, hence why they were changed and left in the shed for several years!
After polishing, I sealed each nipple from the inside of the rim with an adhesive, smoothed it over before it cured, then laid a band of 3M sealing tape around the rim.
This was back in July, and the wheels are holding pressure no problem.

Not sure if they make yours, but Buchanan's spokes has always been my place fir old BMW and Guzzi.
They do custom spokes as well. So I know they can make them.

Tires are of and today wil take some spokes out for delivery to a shop in Holland. He said the spokes maybe M4 fine threaded. That would be an issue.

Previous owner tried to seal the spokes but did not succeed.
Another thing is finding sludge in the front tire (wich leaked the most)[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Another thing is the rim colour. Both are glossy. Was glossy standard for a 2009 model? Doesn't look painted.

Finally got my new spokes. Made in  Germany. I had the rims powdercoated in semi gloss.
Spokes are stainless steel. Thread is 4.5 metric cause i wanted to use the original nippels.

See the order numbers in case needed.
