Advice needed

Hi all.

I have had a post going on about buying a GRiSO and the possibility of importing one from the USA.

The thing is one has just come up for sale in my town. It is a 2010 red GRiSO with the 3 spoke mags. Very nice condition with 26500 Km's on the clock. At 12000 km's it had the roller rocker kit done under warranty in Dunedin by the dealer (will confirm tomorrow). After market exhaust and re mapped (what type not sure). After market air box. Just wondering if the Km's are a concern and if there is anything I should be looking out for.

If it's not a rude question, how much are they asking for it? 26,000 isn't massive, but I'd think the price should be commensurate.

Pete has done 80,000 on his on the flat tappets and it hasn't shit itself yet.

'After market air box' is a worry. It's not some sort of pod arrangement or similar? I would be finding out what kind of remap has been done to ensure it's not over-fueling.

BTW, I have a 2010 model with 21,000kms on flat tappets and I've only had it 3 years (bought new in 2012). 26,500 doesn't seem that many to me.

He's gone to a washable air filter in what looks like the original box. He wants $14.500 NZ but is negotiable.

Well pissing off the shitbox washable filter is easy. As for the mapping? Find out what system me whether it has any add ons like a 'Fat Duc'/Memjet or a PCV/AT.

Price doesn't seem too bad for the antipodes.
