| Took the big G up into the hills today for a pleasant Sunday ride in paradise. Up past the Muragaldrie State Forest to Rosweood, then across the top through the Green Hills State Forest (really a pine plantation) down through the twisties to Tumut. I had a close encounter with the highway patrol on the Tumbarumba road. I saw him coming but didn't register that it was the police until he was right on me. I was running a tad 'hot' on the throttle, and expected a ticket. However, when he pulled me over I got off with breathalyzer test and a terse warning to control my throttle hand. Noted. Remember coming back through that area in 89 on the way home from the first GP at Phillip Is.
