Help on the home front!

I've been trying to understand all the threds about setting the throttle bodies andTPS and the maps but it's not making any sense to me ( on how to actually do it)I'd like my 06 1100 to be done and running it's best. Rather than anyone going through it on here which won't help me is there anybody near the Midlands that's willing to do/show me .I can obviously ride to where ever if someone is kind enough to help and of course pay for the time and trouble or can anyone recommend a good bike garage that will do it.Thanks,sorry for being so dumb but I know what I know and know what I don't know and I'd rather not screw up my beloved bike for the sake of asking.
