Thinking of getting a set of the old 3 spoke wheels for later. What do you reckon is a fair price for a set in good shape?

Rear wheels can be found on fleabay for $300-$500. Fronts, not so much.

So the Norge and Breva Sport rims are different than the GRiSO ones or am I misreading you guys?

All the same if it's the 3 spoked ones - various brands included are Marchesini (the most valuable) and Brembo. Brembo owns Marchesini so its the same product, just a different dress. I've not seen Marchesini wheels here, but I know of a few people in the UK that have them, possibly a job lot from the supplier's factory ended up on a batch of bikes for the UK market

My 09 had the Marchesini but my 07 has the Brembo ones...

From the Ducati range;
1. Brembo wheels are usually cast alloy, and therefore the heaviest. (Cheapest)
2. Marchesini will be identical in appearance but forged aluminium, and lighter. (Dearer)
3. Ducati 'S' models would get forged magnesium wheels, and these are the lightest. (Dearest)

I would hazard a guess the Marchesini GRiSO wheels could be forged aluminium, #2.

Only way to be certain is to find a pair and weigh them.

On my 08 the Marchesinis weighs in at 11,7kg front and 12kg rear, complete wheel with standard dimension PR4, wo axle and bolts. Used a simple luggage scale.

The Parts are leftovers from 2 Guzzi projects.
My 2008 1200 Sport has the Engine, related components and driveline fron a 2013 GRiSO
and my 1100 GRiSO has the wheels from the 2013 GRiSO and the engine and transmission from the 2008 1200 S

Also, the GRiSO saddle is abrasion free?

The Number cast into the Front Wheel is 302274 With BREMBO 1 over it
The Stock seat is sold but I do have a Riches seat for sale , Seat is leather with 25,000 miles of butt on it.

Nothing forged on them GRiSO.

If you look at forged wheels, you can see it direct, look at the rsv mile wheels forged and cast, not difficult to see. I don't think you get magnesium wheels on a street legal bike these days.
