Stripped front engine mount bolt

According to my torque wrench it stripped at 45 pounds/feet...

New front engine cover is approx. $325 U.S.

Time-serts less expensive. Would it be possible to do the time-sert without fully separating engine and frame?

"Crabbing" a GRiSO? I would just need two inches.

I'd remove the cover from the engine and do it on the bench.

Is pretty easy, when belt and pullys are off, you can snap it off. I did it to check the oil pump. Better get the inserts proper in.

"Inserts" are dowels, not gaskets I take it.

Are you shure pete, the 8v has a different oil pump and as far as I remember, there is machining done inside cover at oilpump place.

I havent checked the part #'s. If thats the case then it won't fly.
