Roller tappets Empty
PostSubject: Roller tappets   Roller tappets Icon_minitime1Mon Sep 09, 2019 1:47 pm

Hi everyone,
Apart from a quick hello in the "introduce yourself" section this is my first post so hopefully
it's in the right place, a couple of months ago I bought an 2008 1200 GRiSO with about 10,000 miles on it
and flat tappets. Took the advice from the forum and stopped riding it until rollers were fitted even though
it sounded spot on. Just an update really, roller tappets have now been fitted by 1921 Moto who are based
in West Yorkshire, I'm very pleased with there work so would highly recommend them and I can now get on
with what I bought the bike for and thats riding it.
Aj uk..

Great!

I would go ahead and check the clearances and if needed set them to the .004/.006 spec. Lots of dealers seem to use the looser spec.

Then add a Beatle Map and ride!
