| Hi! Hope everyone is healthy and well
Recently i replaced the oil pressure sensor and the gave the GRiSO new oil and filter. Now every now and then a service light shows up.
I did the diagnosis and IT shows error code 00... Error unknown? Anybody knows what it is? The bike runs fine.

| Did you or have you replaced the top sump gasket? Not sure of your year but the earlier ones had two gaskets and the top one causes issues, such as you mention, the later ones had the 1400 one piece sump.
It could also be a bad connection on the sensor itself - some of them had a little screw T top, this can come loose.

| Hi. I have not removed anything where I should replace a gasket for I think. And if it has something to do with the oil pressure sensor it should give a other error code right? | |

| Not always, sometimes error codes can be misleading, but if you are getting a service light, the ECU/Dash think there is something going on. Best to trace where you have been, such as the sensor first, then follow other things later.
A pair of sump gaskets cost around $25 AUD, so should be around 15 Euro for the pair, if needed.

| Maybe a stupid question. But replacing the sump gasket would require another oil and filter change right? | |

| No need to change the filter but you would have to drop the oil.. if you don't want to waste it just clean around the drain plug carefully and drain it into a clean container and decant it back into the jug it came in and then use it again after the gasket change. | |

| I've not come to replace the sump gasket yet. But I do remember replacing the oil cooler. Could it be something with the oil cooler? | |

TIA I just did this. 14 bolts around the perimeter of the sump. 4 bolts aroud the oil filter - the oil filter can stay on. Remove left exhaust header to gain access to the side stand mouting bracket bolts - because the bracket is bolted across the sump and the sump spacer. Remove Sump. Remove the 4 screws inside the sump spacer. Remove the sump spacer. NOTE: The 22 sump/spacer bolts are NOT all the same length - do not mix them up. Reverse order & put it back together with the new gaskets. Before putting the sump spacer back on I checked that the O-rings in the oil pickup line were still in place (I used my phone then zoomed the picture). | That's a good how2 Will do it. But I still dont understand why this will remove the error. I lifted the tank today and checked the oil pressure plug and replaced it again. But no solution so far. Im getting desperate.
Will the guzzidiag give more info?

| Doubt it. It still lists the same fault codes. | |

| This occurred immediately after the oil pressure sensor replaced, right?
I had an issue with a Breva 1100 once where the sensor would only last a couple of weeks before needing replacing again. Don't remember the code that was thrown up, but it didn't show on a cold motor, only after it was warmed up and restarted.
I fixed it for good when I replaced it with the genuine (expensive) part. It's only a switch right, what made this genuine one so special?
But if your replacement is not a genuine part, you might consider grasping at this straw.
