Throttle body clean

How much of the throttle body do you actually clean?
The bodies themselves ("tunnels") obviously, and I guess also the air bleed screews and their channels.

But what about the hoses to the stepper motor and the motor itself?
TPS?
Everything with MAF safe cleaner of course...

Anything else to remember?

Try and avoid too much overspray up in the area of the spindle bush below the TPS just because you *might* wash some crap into it. Other than that? Just clean 'em thoroughly. Luckily there is no MAF in the system.

With the stepper? Unless it is malfunctioning? Leave it alone.

Why is this, and should I re-connect it?

Because it's been butchered by a moron. Yes, reconnect it and if it has problems find out why.
