Morgan Park at Warwick Queensland.
The Track has been freshly resurfaced and while smooth it was like sand paper to the tyres. Mine normally last a season, roughly 8 to 10 track days, I'd put 2 days on new tyres before going here, and 2 days later, completely worn out Evil or Very Mad

Some of the younger "Go Fast crowd" we're going through 2 sets of new tyres per day affraid

, the price of Horsepower I guess .
I had a bit of a slide on turn 6 earlier in the day, and a good deal of Fear slowed me a little. I was running Pirelli Diablo Super Corsa tyres, while a friend running Dunlop Alpha 13z tyres on a gsxr 750 Suzuki had no problems with his tyres ???
The track GRiSO as it is today , painted the fairing and inserted a Carbon fibre headlight blank. Newly fitted Dunlops too

Morgan Park - has a whole new management team who know Jack Shit!
They had the track resurfaced with the wrong compound of bitumen, very abrasive but also offering very little grip.

All the regular clubs who use Morgan Park for race meetings have complained bitterly, upgrades to come.

By the way Ron, that was very entertaining.
Please notify me well in advance of you next foray to Morgan Park, I may drag Bella out of mothballs.

The horrid chattering you hear is the back suspension topping out under hard braking. I don’t know how much weight has been removed from the rear end but it’s upset the way it behaves brake wise. It’s not as smooth changing down gears now , a trade-off with the light clutch assy I’m thinking Rolling Eyes

Too much rebound dampening on rear shock?
Maybe, with less flywheel mass/inertia, engine breaking has altered.
Try a little extra fuel at higher revs on 0% TPS.

Awesome Ron. You can certainly hear how she revs up quicker now. You seemed to be running pretty high revs, what's your "valve bounce" set to?

More details in a week or so around a campfire, will be gleaned too.

Yes I’ll have to revisit the rear shock ........ again. I think the rebound is already backed right off Suspect

And yes, a bit jerky getting back on the throttle coming out of corners
