lowered pegs long legs

Hi all
read many posts regarding lowered pegs.
my Breva 1100 (sorry) is just a bit cramped after a couple of hundred miles.
should i :
sell the bike
have surgery
raise the seat
stop more often
have surgery
or ask for your recomendations
your choice

Surgery, since you listed it twice....

More importantly, surgery on what? Once for the left side, and once for the right?

Nah, put on rearsets and ride like you imagined you once did.

Surgery seems popular. Arse cheek implants to raise you on high, preferably air cushion style so that ride height can be adjusted.





















Selling the bike is not an option unless upgrading to a GRiSO. Lowered pegs and raised seat worked for me.

mmmm I'm 6'7" and manage just fine on the Sport..... I didn't think the ergonomics of the Breva were vastly different...  

On long rides -and I've covered 1000km in a day once or twice, a sheepskin gives you some separation from the seat and a 1/2" lift.
With hard panniers on, I can still use the rear pegs (feel like rear-sets as Tony suggested) to vary the angles a bit.
I've tried a couple of lowered peg sets, but with my size 14/48 boots, I couldn't find a set that worked around corners...
Stopping more often might do it, but the 440km tank range doesn't help that...  

Selling = no
Raise the seat = maybe
Lower the pegs = research required
Surgery = Braziliaan butt lift
Stop more often = if you do sell and get a GRiSO, this will occur naturally

Selling was never an option.
Surgery is very expensive

I think its a combo of age age a previous injury

yeah, now that I think more about it.... my knees are shot and after a few hours in the saddle they don't unwind like they used to....
fish oil, procosamine, and rum seem to work well (rum applied liberally post ride - internally of course).
black beer is also recommended as a joint lubricant...
Some of the lads close to you are bound to have a few lowering options that you might be able to try out for a bit...
Raising the seat, even with the humble sheepskin, changes the wrist angle/pressure, and may stick yer noggin up into the breeze
