| Ok A few more pics from today -- thanks a lot to Beetle for the help. I love the gear indicator! It is really neat and fast -- better than the one on the Guzzi V7 III that I also have!! [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Gipro X-type. 1. Remove the RX side wing, the seat, the air filter with the plastic cover under the seat.. 2. Find the speedo connector ( see the above from Beetle ). I found it easier to push it down and work from under the seat by the rear shock. The wire that you want is the middle one, on the 3 wire connector. I was able to insert a connector there: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]2. Tap the Azzurro e Verde ( sky blue and green) wire from the Right Coil connector with the provided little red tap/ [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

| [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I rerouted the this tap to the back of the bike along of the main conduit with all the wires to the Gear Indicator, mounted on the right end side of the Speed indicator. All wires are now under the seat!

| 3. Now you need to tap a 12V and a Ground. I followed the suggestion and used the rear tail light. Just a black and red wire to the blue ( ground ) and yellow-gray (Positive) check with the voltmeter [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

| 4. Lastly, Connect the 4 wires per installation manual... 12V to red, Ground to black.... I used 4 little connectors like this, and put all nicely on the side. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Did the learning as per manual... really easy.... love it ! Giuseppe [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |
