Installing Beetle map Empty
PostSubject: Re: Installing Beetle map   Installing Beetle map Icon_minitime1Sat Mar 21, 2020 3:11 pm

I installed the Beetle map for the GRiSO 4v. Saved my original and then down loaded the Beetle map. Then I reset the TPS and the relearn per instructions. The only problem I am having is setting the idle via co trim. Having problems lowering the idle. It wants to idle at 3500 even when I trim the co to the negative. Maybe the TB are out of balance, don't know. Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks,

Craig

What value does Throttle show? First, reset CO back to zero. Wait 20 seconds before clicking finish, then another 20 before shutting the engine off. Then, go back to the Actors menu. Open the throttle and let it return by itself. Reset TPS again.

Report findings.

Throttle is 4.7, waiting for engine to warm up before resetting co. Get back in a few.

Better, but still a tad high. Be worth balancing the throttle bodies.
